The story of 123ofnet.com

2000: An easy solution to the Net !!!

123ofnet.com was built by three students in Baroda, India. Here's what we wrote on our About page back then:

"This site started off with a small dream - to set up a portal that would help any one find "anything" on the net. For us it has been a learning experience that will be invaluable for the rest of our lives. We have tried to spend as little money as possible... Our expenses other than the large phone bills were the domain registration charge of Rs 400. We have done our best to bring to you 123ofnet.com. Hope you like it."

The site had free email, 20 MEGS of free webspace, chat, forums, eGreetings, news, a jokes finder, horoscopes and a web directory. See the original site »

2026: An easy solution to AI !!!

The domain lapsed, then got taken over by spammers. In 2026 I bought it back.

The problem is the same as in 2000, just with a new word in it. Back then, people needed help finding "anything" on the net. Now they need help finding the right AI tool, and there are thousands of them. So 123ofnet.com is a portal again: a hand-checked AI directory and free AI tools, in the same look we built in 2000.
